About Us
Until There's A Cure was founded in 1993 by two mothers concerned for the health and welfare of their children and
communities. Their caring, compassion, and commitment to curing AIDS resulted in The Bracelet, a symbol worn and
recognized worldwide. The Foundation has scored major successes: UTAC provided the seed funding for IAVI, the
International AIDS Vaccine Initiative; UTAC was among the first organizations to make a fashion statement that speaks
for more than its wearer.
For 15 years, the Foundation has raised money for worthy causes in the fight against AIDS, providing money to community clinics supporting care and comprehensive testing programs, African villages ravaged by HIV infection, and vaccine advocacy groups dedicated to research and medical development. We cannot wait another 27 years or afford to lose another 25 million people.
Without a vaccine for HIV, there can be no cure for AIDS. Although treatment, prevention, and awareness are the best options we have available now, they are not sufficient: Enough is enough. It's time to get involved… Until There's A Cure.
